Munish is a famous tourist destination. Munich is the capital of the German Federal State of Bavaria. It is Germany's third largest city and one of Europe's most prosperous and expensive. Every year many people from around the world visit Munich either for recreation or for a business trip. There are many places worth a visit in Munich from churches to palaces, royal avenues and theatres, parks and museums. You can visit the famous Munich Glockenspiel situated in the main town hall building in Marienplatz, the Holy Mary statue located in the centre of the platz. You should also visit Frauenkirche church and also Viktualien Market which is one the best shopping areas.

The Nymphenburg Schloss castle is one of Munich’s favourite tourist attractions and is well connected by trams. You can also visit the Olympic Park where the Olympic Games were held in 1972. Close by the Olympic Park is BMW museum.

Munich is well connected with other parts of the world. Most major airlines fly into the modern Munich airport named Franz-Joseph Strauss. Buses, train, taxis are available to take visitors to downtown Munich. People here can speak in English as well as the local dialect.

Oktoberfest is Munich's most famous attraction. A 2-week-long fair, it offers a wide selection of roller coasters and several large beer tents. The Oktoberfest was first held on October 12, 1810 in honor of the marriage of crown prince Ludwid to Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen. But now the fest is held in September.

For the most part, Munich enjoys a mild climate. Weather can be hot and humid in the summer, with temperatures falling between 51 and 90 degrees F. Munich also gets the occasional winter snowfall.
