Another facility is provided by some of the museums such as Deutsches Museum, the Münchner Stadtmuseum .They offer family tickets which are cheaperthan buying individual tickets.One can buy a Munich Welcome card for local sight seeing.It provides unlimited travel and discount.One can get the Munich Welcome card at the Munich Tourist Office branches located at Hauptbahnhof.
Other important museums in Munich are Alte Pinakothek,Neue Pinakothek,Pinakothek Moderne,Deutsches Museum,Deutsches Museum Verkehrszentrum,Lenbachhaus,Hypokunsthalle,BMW Museum,Beer-and Oktoberfest Museum,Hausderkunst,Glyptothek etc.Though Munich was swept twice by two worldwars but still it continues to attract visitors and tourists from worldwide for its rich culture.
