The church of Michaelskirche, Munich comprises of the tomb of Eugene de Beauharnais who was the son of Napolean’s wife and the first husband. It was constructed by Bertel Thorwaldsen. The interiors feature a combination of baroque and Renaissance styles. The beautifully decorated ceilings and the amazing bright candles lend a typical charm and elegance to the beauty of this church. The atmosphere reflects touches of royalty and grace.

Inside the Michaelskirche, Munich, you will get to see sculptures of Charles Magne and the Habsburg kings. Just in the middle part, you will notice the incredible sculpture work depicting the fight between St. Michael and Satan. On the altar, there is a huge painting by Schwarz which is indeed commendable. Walking down the chamber of the princes or “Furstengruft” you will get to view the coffin of Wilhelm V.
