Getting to Stuttgart by Air: Stuttgart has a well linked international airport which hosts regular flights from the major cities of the country and from abroad as well. Located in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, the airport is equipped with a world class infrastructure to allow a smooth travel.
The airport is fed by several airlines which transport flocks of tourists from the other corners of Germany and from Europe. The ones traveling here from outside Europe too can easily reach the city on connecting flights from major airports like London Heathrow or Paris Charles de Gaulles. Getting to Stuttgart by Train: Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof or the main station of Stuttgart is places at the centre of the city, thus providing an easy way of communicating to any section of the city. The city is served by a regular network of trains, linking the city to the other parts of the country. Trains in fact, serve as a major mode of transport for the tourist, providing them a cheap and convenient way of moving in and out of the city.
Getting to Stuttgart by Car: Stuttgart is placed at the cross roads
of two major highways connecting the city to major regions of the country. The
state highway A8, running between Stuttgart-Karlsruhe, and A81 provide a comfortable
drive from the cities that fall along the way. A few other routes are also available
for the travelers entering the city. B10 connects Stuttgart to Esslingen and
Göppingen in the east. B14 moves Southwest to Stuttgarter Kreuz', Sindelfingen,
Böblingen. B27 stretches southwards to Tübingen, Reutlingen and to
Ludwigsburg to the north. The roads to Stuttgart however, may be a little congested
during the busy hours, though they provide a cheap and easy way of communication
to the ones traveling from the neighboring areas.
