Cantonese stands as an official Chinese language within the province. Hong Kong is a destination skillfully proficient with multiculturalism. Several religious beliefs exist here in unity like Chinese, Muslims, Christians, Jews, and Hindus that follow their set of language.

With the Chinese dominion in Hong Kong, Mandarin was most frequent dialect spoken by the local natives as witnessed in Hong Kong language. The local kids were trained to learn English as a second official language within Hong Kong schools. This in turn helped the natives in communicating with the visitors who traveled to Hong Kong. English and Chinese signs can also be sighted quite often in the roadways that easily direct tourist, which gives them a better level of understanding about the area.

The Han community thriving in this region is known for its unique verbal and on paper language. Chinese is comprised of the Han-Tibetan dialect family, which stands as a popular vernacular in the world.

The form of writing used by Chinese native seems to have originated from nascent engraved symbols round about 6,000 years ago. The Chinese typescripts emerged from bone shell inscriptions of tortoise way back in 3,000 years ago just after which bronze inscriptions came into existence. The sketch figures that were primitively left behind were soon converted to decorative patterns while hieroglyph been recognized into familiar symbols. Chinese typescripts can be identified as pictographs, clear noted characters, fusion composite forms, pictophonetic lettering, phonic typesetting and descriptive characters that form the basis of the Hong Kong Language.

Chinese languages are monosyllabic in nature where major areas of Chinese typescripts are created and formed with an ideogramatic element unified with a sense of phonetic components. Chinese vernacular is constituted with 56,000 characters, wherein only 3,000 are made use of. Though symbols are practically used for communication purpose, Chinese characters are visually assessed by its calligraphy. Among the prevalent 55 Chinese minority groups, the natives Hui and Manchu converse in Chinese while the rest 23 groups resort to the written form.

Hong Kong Language can be expressed as a dialect that is not only phonetically sound but also rich in its vocabulary.
