Central Plaza Hong Kong
The Central Plaza, Hong Kong, with a height of 374 m, is the second tallest building of Hong Kong. Located in Wan Chai, this 78 storey building's construction was completed in the year 1992. It was the tallest building in China until the construction of CITIC Plaza in Guangzhou.

Also until the completion of Two International Finance Centers, Central Plaza remains the tallest building of Hong Kong. The building is triangular in shape. A four bar neon clock rests on the top of the tower. 1,000 neon transformers are used a dazzling image of the front wall. The clock changes its color in very fifteen minutes and displays the time by blinking in every quarter. Each hour is represented by a different color of the four sets of neon tubes. Hong Kong Observatory sends the time signal to the Central Plaza, Hong Kong.

A mast with a height of 102m is placed on the top of the building. On the tip of the building's mast a wind gauge is installed at a height of 378 meters. Central Plaza, Hong Kong, also houses the Community Church Hong Kong. It is the highest church in the world and is located on the top most floor of the building.

This tall 78 storey building was the second building outside United States to have crossed the 1000 foot square area. Build on an area of 7230 meter square land, the Central Plaza, Hong Kong, the land had cost three times more than the construction charge. While the building was constructed it was esteemed to give 8000 people work space. But at present there are 6000 employees working in the Central Plaza. Every floor of the building has 39 columns.

Along with 17 other buildings, Central Plaza, Hong Kong, falls under the Hong Kong Tourism Commission's Victoria Harbor Lighting Plan.
