As far as the architectural style goes, the monuments and the temples are similar. There is a colossal gate i.e. the Buland Darwaza right at the entrance of the complex, which leads you to the Palace of Five Storeys or the Panch Mahal.
You will also find the Jama Masjid - one of the largest mosques in India. Besides that, you will find many palaces, halls and masjids here.
Fatehpur Sikri being the capital city once carried out the regal duties. Moreover, a mass of the arsenal, treasure stores, and other reserves found place at its Red Fort then for safety reasons. Fatehpur Sikri, India is of prime significance as it is considered to be Akbar's crowning architectural legacy. Fatehpur Sikri, New Delhi is certainly an archetypal magnum opus of the great Mughals.
