Soami Bagh Samadh, Agra is one of the numerous tourist spots of the city that attracts tourists from different parts of the country as well as the world. Soami Bagh Samadh is the sepulcher of Huzur Soamiji Maharaj, which is situated in Dayalbagh in the outskirts of the city. Soamiji Maharaj was the initiator of the Radhasoami Faith and for the followers of the faith; the Samadh is sacred to its followers. The construction of the tomb commenced in1908 and people believe that the construction of the building will never end. In fact many see the monument as the “next Taj Mahal”. One of the major highlights of the monument is its carvings in stone that comprises of combination or colored marble. The marble of the tomb gives it a life-like appearance and makes it a rare monument in India. After its completion, Soami Bagh Samadh will feature a carved dome and a gateway.

Soamiji Maharaj took the initiative to purchase Soami Bagh, during his lifetime he used to stay in the garden and perform spiritual practices there. Later on Soami Bagh became home to the Samadh of Soamiji Maharaj. Located adjacent to the mausoleum is Bhajan Gar where Soamiji Maharaj performed the spiritual practices during his lifetime; the bhajan ghar also houses satsang once per day. The garden of Soami Bagh is also home to the home of Babuji Maharaj, which houses Satsang twice each day. Also on the grounds of Soami Bagh is the home of Babuji Maharaj, where Satsang is held twice each day.

Near the Soami Bagh Samadh are also other buildings, which have been built to provide kitchen facilities for Bhandara festivals held at Soami Bagh several times per year. Bhandara festivals are celebrated here as a tribute to past Sant Sat Gurus and Satsangis from all over the world, come here to attend the festival.
