Culture of Bangalore has become a melting pot for many cultures transforming

Kannada movies are mostly musical and their soundtracks are very popular among the people. Diversity can be noticed in the cuisine also, which reflects the mixture of different cultures. Roadside vendors, tea stalls South Indian, North Indian, Chinese and Western fast food all are relished equally. Udupi restaurants which are very popular serves only vegetarian. The ongoing IT boom and intense corporate activity is attracting people from all over. This has introduced some vibrancy into the Culture of Bangalore. As a result many clubs and bars have come up in the city. Now it is often referred as the Pub Capital of India. Popular nightspots in Bangalore like HiNT, Taika, Pecos and TGIF are few names where the new generation flocks the most. Mark Knopfler, The Rolling Stones, Joe Satriani, Bryan Adams have performed in the city.
Culture of Bangalore is witnessing the revival of traditional art in the form
of dance, drama and art. As much pain is taken to restore every aspect of painting,
pottery, weaving or theatre.
