Today the Gandhi Bhavan, Bangalore houses the Gandhi Smarak Nidhi along with a picture gallery that boasts of rare photos of Mahatma Gandhi from his childhood till the last day of his life. Also there are numerous Photostat copies of the letters penned by 'bapu' during his life span.
As the main aim of Gandhi Bhavan is to spread the life and teachings of the great Bapu, today the place serves as a venue for numerous meetings, sessions and seminars based on Gandhiji. While a special program is arranged on 2nd of October, every year to celebrate his birthday, several seminars and programs are held through out the year here.
