The beautiful city of Cochin is situated towards the southern tip of the Indian peninsula. Located close to the Arabian Sea in the state of Kerela, it has long acted as one of the principal seaports of India. The name of the district to which Cochin belongs is Ernakulamit. Cochin covers an area of about 36.6 square meters and is the second largest city in Kerela after its capital.
