The other means of getting around Cochin is autorikshaw. The minimum charge is Rs 10 for 1.5 Km and there on for every Km Rs 4.5 is levied. The taxis charge higher then the autorikshaw to get around the city. Cars can be hired from the rent companies. At the international airport and railway stations the tourists can avail the pre paid facilities.

The other interesting way of getting around Cochin is by the means of Ferry. The state water transport authority and also private operators provide services from main jetty at Park Avenue to Vypin, Fort Cochin, and Mattancherry.
