Darjeeling Tourist Information Centre is located below the Bellevue Hotel in Chowrasta. One can get all information related to Darjeeling or about neighboring areas from their assistance.

If any foreigner is willing to visit Sikkim then a permit is authorized from Government is required. It can also be obtained from Darjeeling other than New Delhi and Kolkata. The Foreigner's Registration office is located at Laden La road. One can also get facility of currency exchange and encash of traveler's cheques.
