The garden is home to the best of species of roses from all over the world Sir Edwin Lutynes designed this manifestation of art. The lawns of the Mughal garden are well maintained and sculptured to perfection. The Mughal Garden has within its premises, artificial water bodies and the emerald green makes the lawn a green carpet for you to stroll on it.

Sir Edwin Lutynes for Lady Harding envisaged and created the Mughal Garden. The Mughal Garden covers an area of thirteen acres and encompasses three gardens in different shapes from rectangular, circular and elliptical all fusing the style of the British and the Mughals. The Mughal garden in Delhi has some of the beautiful Mughal styled channels that flow silently meandering its way up the gardens, with fountains and beautiful patios to enrich your experience in the premises of the garden. The Mughal Garden is resplendent with beautiful flowers in full blossom like the roses, marigold, bougainvillea, sweet william, viscaria. The Mughal garden is home to four waterways that are exquisitely carved, at their junctions, there are red sandstone lotus leaves in three tiers. Within the Mughal garden, there are other lawns both small and big like the pearl Garden, Butterfly Garden and the Circular Garden are all there to make the Mughal Garden a treat to your eyes.
