The Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation envision the garden of five senses. The garden is located on the premises of the Said-ul-Aizab village near to the Mehrauli, New Delhi. The garden has an area covering almost twenty acres unveiled on 2003 by the Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit. The garden of five senses inauguration showcased the seasonal flowers in all their merriment and animal figures sculptured from plants and grasses. The place evolved as a result of fusing the elements of the five senses and creating space for the leisure purpose only.

The Park is a subtle man made creation, which nourishes your eyes, and senses at one go. The first breath you take here almost intoxifies your sun dried brain and replenishes your senses. The park awakens the spirit of Life in you; the verdant green gives you your much awaited relief from the concrete jungle. There are rocks and flowers in display to make all your olfactory senses start working making you feel, touch and breathe in- the beauty of Life. There are ceramic bells, water falls and sculptured landscapes to soothe your senses. There are many food courts, which tantalize your taste buds, and in no time, you are satiated by the awesome array of the tasty delicacies. The paths are curiously laid as in a maze, with lotus flowers welcoming you in all the water bodies that lighten up the nook and corners.

Attractions of the Garden of Five Senses

The Courts of Specimen display rare species like the Kalpaka Vritch, Kadambaha, bamboo, cacti, teak, Rudraksh, Camphor, Arjun and other herbs.

The garden is divided into zones like the Khas Bagh that developed on the lines of the Mughal Gardens. Time stands still in the garden, where the water falls into canals and paths strewn with flowering trees and in the center lies a fountain, which has lighting facilities. There is amphitheatre is ensconced, in a natural slope where the sandstones act as places for eating. There is also an open exhibition area where exhibitions and workshops are held regularly.
