A state wherein there isn't any need for self to make special efforts for entertainment
is the ideal thought for Goa. But eventually the beaches and the picnic spots
get a little boring and one wants to invade some other side of entertainment in
Goa. Hence, the Cinema's and theaters in Goa are the boon for Goans. Goa always
had cinema theaters but no crowd to attend those. Perhaps because of the poor
quality and state in which the theaters were taken care of. The Cinemas and
the theaters in Goa have gained a lot of importance recently. The one reason
may be due to the IIFI being started in Goa. Due to the IIFI, a lot of people
from the film fraternity have been visiting Goa. The cinemas and theaters in Goa
have often attracted a lot of attention from the public
Cinemas and theaters:
The Inox multiplex, which has a chain all over India, finally found its establishment
in Goa. The Inox theaters have come like a boon for the people who found it
hard to make their way into tangy theaters. In the multiplex, there are four
screens and one can first choose the show and the movie of your choice. This
works as convenience for the many of us who do not get tickets for one show.
The trip isn't wasted, instead you can compensate by watching another movie.
Theaters such as Vishant and Samrat are the old ones and now close to renovation.
Another multiplex that has come up during recent times is the Oshia Theater,
which has also gained a lot of importance. Paying a visit to Kala Academy helps
too, as one can find a lot of live plays and short movies. For those who are
interested in watching the old Goan i.e. the Konkani movies there are show every
week at the Kala Academy.
