The B M Birla Planetarium was inaugurated by the Late Sri N.T. Rama Rao on 8 th September, 1985. Though the B M Birla Planetarium is a great place for the kids, it is one pf the places where adults also get learn a lot. Enjoy the daily sky shows that are offered both in English and Telegu. The latest inclusion that the B M Birla Planetarium features is the Diaosorium. This latest wing includes fossils that are of 160 million years old. Also there are a few smaller fossils of dinosaur eggs, marine shells and fossilized tree trunks.

The B M Birla Planetarium is located at Naubat Padad of Hyderabad.
Timings
The B M Birla Planetarium can be visited any time between 10:30 am to 3:00 pm. but do not visit the museum on last Thursday of every month as it remains closed.
