Located near the Tank Road Lumbini Park is another picturesque location of the Hyderabad. Three kilometers away from the heart of the city the Lumbini Park is named after the native land of Lord Buddha and is positioned just opposite to a huge and renowned Buddha Statue. The reason this park came into being was totally a sacred cause. The state government had planned to develop a park to celebrate the birth anniversary of Lord Buddha. The Lumbini park came into being as a part of the Buddha Purnima Project.
Lumbini Park is considered to be one of the most beautiful parks of the city and an appropriate place to relax and rejuvenate your spirits. The park has visitors of all age groups. From Nine to ninety , people of all age can be seen loitering around in this place. Kids simply love to run about amidst the lush green gardens of the park.
