The Sanghi Temple is about twenty five kilometers from the heart of the Hyderabad city. The Sanghi Nagar named after the Sanghi temple, is an industrial hub. Once on top of the hill there is a heavy, beautiful ornate door that makes up the main entrance of the temple complex. The magnificent temple complex is built on the framework of the Chola-Chalukya style. Lord Venkateswara is famed to be the provider of the piousness and prosperity. The idol of the Lord Venkateswara is nine and half feet, a true copy of the Tirumala deity. The daily rituals of alankaram and abhishekam are performed everyday for the deity. To the right of the temple are to come by the temple of the consort of Lord Balaji, Goddess Padmavathi. She is known as the goddess of Love, mercy and compassion. Lord Shiva or the "destroyer" among the trinity of the Hindu Gods has his temple on the left side of Balaji's temple. Lord Shiva is the all powerful Lord seated on a lotus with a crescent moon decorating his hair and a trident in his right hand and is known to perform tandav when he is angry and in a mood to destroy.
