The lovely city of Hyderabad retains its old charm even today amidst the bustling
atmosphere of a business city. From early 2000 the city of Hyderabad has been
through an immense transition. Prior to this, even in 1998 there was one Chinese
restaurant, named Palace Highs, in the whole city. So much so, the first shopping
mall was also built in the very recent years in 2001. But today Hyderabad stands
as one of the most modern cities of India, with innumerous shopping malls, sports
venues, restaurants, pubs, bars, and various nights out options.
Today nightlife in Hyderabad, though not very vibrating as compared to the
metros, it has still improved a lot. Most of the nightclubs get shut within
11pm at night leaving very few options for the tourists to enjoy a vivacious
nightlife in the city of Hyderabad. Today Hyderabad has become a hot favorite
destination for meeting and chilling out with friends and is thus called MICE,
which refers to Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions. You can
go for a long drive along the IT sector. There are some great hotels, which
have bars that remain open till late night. You can delve into some of the gastronomical
flavors of the Hyderabadi cuisine or may be just sitting in the cool and calm
environment with a drink. T2 at the Taj Krishna or Dublin at Sheraton is some
of the great places for night outing in Hyderabad. But if you are a party animal
like, then Treasure Island is the only place where you can party till 4 am in
the morning. Some of the other cool places for partying late night in Hyderabad
are Ten Downing Street, Liquids, a pub, Touch, which are all visited by an up
market decent crowd. Bottles & Chimney's is another nightclub of the city.
There is a night bus service in Hyderabad, which will take you for a tour around
the city at night.
