Jaigarh Fort, Jaipur is one of the most spectacular forts of the city of Jaipur.the extremely popular fort is also known as the Victory Fort. This fort is one of the very few fortress and military structures belonging to the medieval India. This Jaigarh Fort was constructed in between 15th and 18th centuries. The Jaigarh Fort is located about 15 km from Jaipur. The fort has a huge collection of coins and puppets. Vijaygarh is another attraction of the fort. Vijay Garh, is basically the armoury of the fort .in this armoury the visitors will get to see wide range of collection of swords ,small arms like time bombs. There is also a treasury lock with five keys and big wine and oil jars which can be observed over here. The Jaigarh cannon foundry is the other attraction of this fort. This popular foundary was built by Bhagwan Das in the 16th century. This foundary is infact one of the few medieval foundries in the world. This popular foundary of jaigarh has a furnace, lathe, tools and a huge collection of wonderful cannons. Seven Storeyed- Diya Burj, the Palace Complex, the Lakshmi Vilas Palace and Museums are the other attractions of the fort.
