Getting to Kolkata by Train

The train service of the city is probably the heart of communication to the city. Kolkata is home to two of the busiest Railway junction in India. One being the Howrah Station and the other Sealdah Junction. One can avail to almost every railway station in the country from these two stations in the city. It also connects the adjoining area of the city.

Getting to Kolkata by Road

The Grand Trunk road (G T Road) connects the city to the northern part of the country covering the states of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and many more. Kolkata is also a part of the renowned Golden Quadrilateral which provides seamless connectivity of the city to the other Metros of the country.

Getting to Kolkata by Boat

The city is home to the Kolkata Port Trust which provides connectivity mainly to Port Blair. The efficient boat service of the city also connects the important places on the other side of the river Ganges.
