The headquarters of PVR Cinemas is located at 702, Housefin Bhavan, Bandra-Kurla Complex, in Bandra, Mumbai. PVR Cinemas is one of the largest cinema exhibitions in India at present. PVR Cinemas has been one of the Pioneers in the development of Multiplexes in India.

PVR Cinemas started its operations in June 1997 with the launch of PVR Anupam in Saket, which was India’s first multiplex.

PVR Cinemas introduced the multiplex concept in the country and brought about a whole new paradigm shift to cinema viewing experience, high class seating, state of the art screens and audio visual systems.

The company now holds significant presence in New Delhi, National Capital Regions like Gurgaon & Noida, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Lucknow and Indore. This has made it the largest cinema exhibition chain in the country.

PVR Cinemas has also ventured into the business of film making to solidify and set up the PVR pictures, a subsidiary of PVR Ltd.

The company has 70 screens nationwide in 9 cities with openings of PVR Juhu in Mumbai, PVR Lucknow and 5 screen PVR Indore, PVR Mulund in Mumbai and PVR Sahara Mall in Gurgaon.
