Elephanta Caves

Elephanta Caves are being situated on the Elephanta Islands. These caves on the island are famous for the sculptures they have. Thus the architecture and immaculate artistry that draw tourists to this place. This place is reached by motorboats and other water vehicles that can be taken on rent. Touring this place must be avoided during the high tides in the sea.

Sanjay Gandhi National Park

Sanjay Gandhi National Park is located in the suburbs of Mumbai in Borivali. It is among the few national Parks that are located in the limits of the city. The National Park is a reserve forest with diverse kind of flora and fauna. It is laid down on an area of 104 sq kms. This national park gets the highest number of visitors in Asia with almost 2 million tourists visiting it per year.

Gateway of India

This is one of the most famous monuments in India. It is located in the South Mumbai on the sides of the sea. This is the first spot visited by any tourist hitting the land of Mumbai. The gateway of India was built on the architectural style derived from Indo-Saracenic time.

Jehangir Art Gallery

It is one of the premier art galleries of India. It was founded by Cowasji Jehangir. It is located in the area named Kala Ghoda. The Bombay Art Society manages it.

Hanging Gardens

This garden is built on the top of the Malabar Hills region and giving it a shape to make it resemble a terrace. This place gives a very beautiful view of the Arabian Sea especially during the time of the sunset.

Beaches of Mumbai

Mumbai being located on the shores of the Arabian Sea Mumbai is famous for its beaches. There are several beaches in Mumbai among them are Juhu Beach, Gorai Beach and many others.
