It is connected by the local train services with the nearest railway stations located at Santacruz and Vile Parle.
Development of the placeJuhu Suburb, Mumbai for ages has attracted many native citizens to settle over there. This was primarily due to the beautiful view of the landscape that has been enthralling the public. The process started with Jamsetji Tata, who bought land in the area and invested huge fortune in the development of the area. He occupied around 1200 acres of land in the area with 500 plots of one acre each on the land and a seaside resort. This project-fuelled development in the area and continuing till date.
Entrance to the beachJuhu Suburb, Mumbai has got three entrances from three sides of the city. The first entrance is from Vile Parle. Vile Parle has got a railway station of its own; this makes the place more accessible to the tourist. The other entrance is from Santacruz another affluent place in the suburbs of Mumbai. Santacruz too has a railway station for the local trains. This makes the Juhu Beach accessible to the commuters. The third entrance is from Andheri another influential place in the Mumbai suburbs. There is also a railway station located in this area, which makes it easy for the visitors to travel. Since there are three entrances to the beach therefore innumerable people everyday are flocking to the beach.
Attractions on the Juhu Beach
Juhu Suburb, Mumbai is famous for the never-ending sandy coast. The view of the deep blue sea for ages has allured the visitors. The beach is also famous for some of the famous delicacies like Sev Puri, Pani Puri, Bhel Puri and many more available on the beach. At a short distance from the beach there is a place named Gandhi Gram from where Mahatma Gandhi started his practice of law.
