Indira Gandhi , grand daughter to late Mr. Motilal Nehru and daughter to the first prime minister of India, Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru , laid the foundation stone . This occasion took place on November 2, 1972 . This whole area covers up almost six-acre plot, which is leased by the Government of Maharashtra.
