In the seventies, Clapton who is considered as original guitar god liked to eat at one place in London called the Hard rock cafe. He liked it so much that one day Clapton asked the proprietors to always save a table for him. And put up a brass plate or something. The proprietors were music loving Americans so they asked Clapton to put up his own guitar. Promptly Clapton handed over his guitar and it was put up on the wall. A week later another guitar came with a note that ‘mine is as good as his!’ The cafe owners put the second guitar on the wall and the saga continued.
Today the Hard Rock Café is doing business in 42 countries one of them is in Mumbai.Hard Rock Cafe in Mumbai keeps its patrons rocking with some live music. They have two stages that can be used for performances at the same time. 169 people can sit in the cafe at one time.
