Mysore is one of most historically important states in south India. It was one-time the capital city for the Wodeyars Dynasty. Mysore is the second largest city in the state of Karnataka. Getting to Mysore isn't a problem with so many trains from Bangalore to Mysore are Tuticorin Express, Thanjavur Mysore Exp, and Tirupati Mysore Fast Passenger. The ideal route to reach Mysore is via Bangalore . By Air Mysore doesn't have an airport; the nearest one is at Bangalore which is 139kms away. There are many domestic flights from all the major cities of India connecting to Bangalore. Getting to Mysore is possible by air via Bangalore only.
