Introduction Known as the temple city of India, Bhubaneshwar has been the historical hub of many things. This city is located in the western coast of India. There were also some Stone Age tools that have been discovered in the excavations in this city. This city forms an integral link in the Golden Triangle that is formed between the Sun temple of Konark and the Jagannath temple of Puri. The Lingaraj temple in this city also is an important landmark in the history of India. This temple was built on the 11th century. Moreover the famous duo Khandagiri and Dhauligiri situated in the outskirts of the city adds to its beauty. It is famous for carrying some of the monuments of the Jain monks. Another historical monument in Bhubaneshwar, India is the Shantistupa that was built by Ashoka the Great as a symbol of peace.
