Chittorgarh, India is the part of the western state Rajasthan. It is located on the southern part of Rajasthan. It is situated by the side of the high hills. The cities nearest to this place are Udaipur, which is separated by 112 km and Ajmer, which is 182 kms away from the city.

Chittorgarh has maintained its age-old customs and traditions by not letting the technology invade it. The city is not connected by the airplane and thus does not have an airport. The city is well connected by railway and has a railway station. The major tourist attraction in the city is the Chittorgarh fort, which standing tall for ages despite several attacks by the invaders. The fort was constructed beside a steep hill beside, which the modern township is laid down. The other important building is the Rana Kumbha Palace. It is famous for the queen Padmini who resided it. She gave the example of female power by performing Jauhar. The Archeological museum is another attraction of the city. The other major tourist attraction of the city is the Victory Tower more popularly known as the Vijay Stambh. This was erected by Rana Kumbha to mark the victory of his against Mahmud Khilji.
