The Ganesh Panchami held in the month of September is the biggest religious festival in Pune, with people from all walks of lives engaging themselves in the spirit of the festival with gusto. Big idols of Ganesh are sculpted. The festival goes on for 10 days at the end of which the idols are immersed.
