Barog is tucked on a height of 1560 meters above the mean sea level. Barog is endowed with some fine views and walks - don't forget to try the one that leads to the Choordhar Mountains (3,650m). At about 3 km from the Barog Station lies the grave of Barog who committed a suicide after the failure of his venture.
