One of the best hill-stations of India, Chail in Shimla is located in the state of Himachal. Chail is believed to be an asset of Himachal Tourism. Chail in Shimla is easily accessible from Shimla, the capital city of Himachal. Chail can be approached from Shimla via Kufri, Shilonbagh and Koti. Chail is connected by a road from Shimla via Kufri, the distance is about 45 km and via Kandaghat it is 61 km. If you are traveling straight from Delhi, you have to take a turn at Kandaghat, about 90km from Chandigarh on the Kalka-Shimla Highway. Kalka is 86 km away from Chail. Bus Service is available in regular intervals for Chail from Shimla, Chandigarh and Delhi. The nearest airports are at Chandigarh (120km) and Shimla Jubber Hatti Airport (63km).

- Sadhupul The Chail Palace is now run as a hotel by HPTDC. Chail also boasts of the highest cricket pitch in the world. This ground was built in 1893, after leveling the top of the hill. The Cricket Ground stands at 2444 feet and is the highest cricket pitch and polo ground in the world. The wildlife sanctuary of Chail is nearly located and is well enough to mesmerize the tourists.
