Yusmarg – situated at an altitude of about 9000 feet from sea level – is an hour’s drive from Srinagar. The ‘Trata Kutti’ and ‘Sang-safed’ peaks are situated about 13 kms from the Charar-e-Sharif in Srinagar, the most sacrosanct of the Muslim shrines in India.
