Vizhinjam Beach

Vizhinjam Beach was previously a business district for the Europeans, Portuguese and the Dutch who indulged in a commercial trade relation with the native kings of the ancient time. Vizhinjam is a beautiful coastal town set within the Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala. Vizhinjam is known as a popular beach resort which is famous for its rock-cut temples. The sea is almost 23 to 27 metres deep and aids large container ships of the area.
