Udaipur is a legendary city located in the western state of Rajasthan in India.

Lakes : You can visit the city's beautiful lakes. Some of them are Fateh
Sagar Lake, Pichola Lake, Udai Sagar and Swaroop Sagar Lakes which are famous
for their pristine beauty.
Lake Palace : The Lake Palace is commonly known as Jag Niwas and it
is situated on a small island in the middle of Pichola Lake. The entire palace
is built with marble stone only. Lake Palace was built in three years and was
opened in 1746.
Jag Mandir : Jag Mandir is also an island in the Lake Pichola where
you will find a picturesque garden. The garden's palace is historically important
because Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan once took shelter here while rising up against
his father.
City Palace : The City Palace is one of the most elegant palace of the
city with extra-ordinary mirror works inside it. The palace was built by the
king of Mewar. There is a museum inside the palace.
Sajjangarh Fort or the Monsoon Palace : Sajjangarh Fort palace was established
by Maharana Sajjan Singh in 1884. The palace is located on top of the hill and
you will get a sensuous view of the city from there. As the palace looks most
beautiful in the rainy season it is also called as Monsoon Palace.
Another attraction is the Sajjangarh Wildlife Sanctuary situated within a close
proximity to the Monsoon Palace. The king used to go for hunting in the dense
forest in the past.

Meera Kala Mandir in Udaipur : Meera Kala Mandir is a cultural center
for dance and music. The organization promotes specially the classical music
and dance of India.
Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal : This is a museum of Indian regional arts
and culture. Here costumes, ornaments, masks, toys, puppets, paintings musical
instruments of rural and tribal communities are on display. Puppet shows are
also held in the open air auditorium here.
You can also spend time by watching movies in any of the cinema halls in Udaipur.
Chetak, Swapnalok, Ashoka, Paras and Picture Pole are notable among them. Chetak
is situated in Chetak Circle and Ashoka and Picture Pole are in Surajpole area
of the city.
