Bali Weather

Indonesia - Jakarta - Lombok - Semarang - Solo - Yogyakarta - Bali
Tourists undertaking a trip at the island of Bali must know the changing moods of Bali weather. Situated within a close proximity to equator, Balinese people experience moderate rainfall and ample amount of sunshine throughout the year. Blessed with eternal summer Bali weather is mainly marked by two seasons. The dry season or "Musim Panas" is local language lasts from the month of May to September. At this time the weather remains less humid in comparison to the level of moisture in air at other times in the year. You can expect little or no rain in the coastal areas. Clear sky and long sunny days give you a fine chance to enjoy the charms of sandy beaches or go for marine recreations like scuba diving and snorkeling. This is considered to be the best season for sightseeing in Bali.

"Musim Hujan" or the rainy season spans from the month of October to April. During this period the west monsoon brings heavy spells of rain complemented by higher levels of humidity. Usually it rains at night for some couple of hours and in the morning the sky is pleasant again. Therefore, exploring Bali Tourist Attractions during day time, is not difficult in this rainy season.

The tropical nature of Bali weather can be felt when the temperature is average. At sea level, the temperature remains around 28ºC. However, the climate of hilly region is quite cool and you may need warm clothing after sundown. Irrespective of seasons, the weather of Ubud and other mountains areas remain cloudy and rainy throughout the year.
