The major airports in Indonesia are Denpasar Airport in Bali (DPS), Soekarno-Hatta Jakarta International Airport (CGK), Borneo – Balikpapan and Hatta Medan – Polonia.

Another major destination is Bali, which has the Ngurah Rai Airport, situated 15km from the main town of Denpasar.

Garuda Airlines, the country’s national carrier provides flights to Indonesia from 24 international destinations, including Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Singapore, Shanghai, Guangzhou (Canton), Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka.

Air Asia (AK), Australian Airlines (AO), Cathay Pacific (CX), Emirates (EK), EVA Airways (BR), KLM Dutch Airlines (KL), Kuwait Airways (KU), Lufthansa (LH), Malysian Airlines (MH), Qantas (QF), SilkAir (MI), Singapore Airlines (SQ), Tiger Airways (TR), Transaero Airlines (UN), Valuair (VF) among others are the airlines that provide flights to Indonesia and back.

Indonesia having a large number of airports and that many airlines providing services to the country, flying is a comfortable option.
