The Java Jazz Festival is held in Indonesia in the month of May. It is more popularly known as the Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival. This is an annual festival, which was first launched in the year 2005. The festival basically highlights the country’s love for Jazz music and thus the vibrant vulture of Indonesia.

Performers from Australia, Japan, South America, United States of America, Europe and other countries in Asia come to Indonesia to take part in this three-day event. The programs start in the afternoons and carries on till midnight. The Java Jazz Festival is usually held in the Jakarta Convention Center.

The Java Jazz Festival consists of nearly 200 programs held over a period of three days. You can attend this festival and get to hear Jazz, soul, hip-hop, rock, Latino, ethnic as well as fusion music. The festival is attended by more than 47000 people, thereby making it one of the biggest music festivals of Indonesia. Both the national as well as the international artists get an opportunity to interact with one another in this festival. The Java Jazz Festival in Indonesia also offers platform to the young stars to showcase their talents. Some of the famous artists who have performed over here include James Brown, Eric Benet and Angie Stone.

In order to attend the Java Jazz Festival at Indonesia you need to purchase tickets. You can go for the daily tickets or the multi-passes. Tickets can be booked online or from the official ticket counter.
