Kuta is famous for its beach. It is a thriving tourist resort. Besides, swimming & sunbathing, it is also popular for surfing. There are a huge number of hotels of all range. It is one of the top choices for the honeymooners.
Mini bus is a unique transportation here for the tourist to getting around Kuta. The journey is a nice & pleasing one, though cheap. Perama bus provides the private bus service in Bali. Visitors make their contact at the office, located at the bottom of Jl. Legian in Kuta. It has a fixed time table & set routes. But please try to avoid the local bemo buses which have no time table, no ticketing & the route has a messy network. Perama will take to the main tourist spots in Bali, including Kuta, Sanur, Ubud, Lovina, Padangbai, Candi Dasa, Tirtaganga, Amed, Tulamben.
Although the place is still suffering in the repercussion, it is slowly but
surely getting back on its feet. After the bomb-blasting, Bali became a place
of horror. But tourists are starting to come to their beloved place. It will
strengthen Bali's struggling economy. The streets are still quiet, & the
shopkeepers are trying to cope up with the situation. You can still find some
great bargains in Kuta. It is hard to forget Bali, before the bombing. The nightclubs
are at present half full, which were once electric. However the Bali spirit
is still remaining & drinks it to the lees!
