Kuta Beach

Once a fishing village, the town of Kuta is situated in the north of Bali, an Indonesian island. After being developed as a premier tourist spot of the country this place gained much popularity due to its beach resorts. Kuta Beach remains one of the favorite relaxation points for tourists. This is the place where Penyus (turtles) come to lay their eggs. While the Indonesian Law gives protection to the turtles, accidental finding of one such egg can add to a tourist’s day’s excitement.

If you are a passionate surfer then Kuta Beach can provide you with enough entertainment and adventure. Apart from enjoying surfing all by yourself you can also participate in the local or international surfing events organized during summer. Both local and international surfers participate in these competitions.

There are many coconut trees on the Kuta Beach increasing the natural beauty of the beach. While visiting the beach one cannot afford to miss the sunset. It is a really fascinating experience. The reflection of the setting sun on the white sand can hypnotize any mortal soul.
