The local Lombok population is practicing Muslims. But they also practice animism.
Lombok has a typical Equatorial climate, summer is high on heat and humidity,
winter has milder days and nights. The weather breaks in October and the rains

of what you eat and drink. Do not take untreated water or cut fruits from roadside,
most hotels provide boiled water. Cut on spicy food if you feel that it will
