The easiest way of getting around Semarang is by taxi. The city streets are filled with a large number of taxis, which you can board in order to travel to different parts of the city. Traveling around Semarang by taxi is extremely safe as the drivers are well mannered and are fully aware about the streets of the city. Apart from these, you can travel by the Becaks, within the city. These are bicycle rickshaws and re suitable for shirt distance travel. They are also one of the chepaest modes of transportion inside the city.
