Yogyakarta is a popular destination in Indonesia and every year there are numerous tourists flocking here. Yogyakarta has always attracted people here in bulks. Tourists have always been fascinated with the diverse architecture and monumental edifices here and thus keep coming here to witness the spoils and remnants of the by gone era.
However getting to Yogyakarta involves three major transportation services like Bus services, trains and trishaws.
Yogyakarta is an amazing tourist's destination and tourists can come here in any transport they wish to and have an amazing time zipping through the entire city in any transport. The tourists can avail of the excellent transportation services like the Becak or the bicycle trishaws. All tourists cannot afford to miss this ride as they are one of a kind. Trishaws are found in very few places and Yogyakarta is one of them. All those who have taken rides in the cycles claim that it's a fascinating experience and surely going by the records one cannot simply afford to miss the opportunities. One however needs to bargain the prices before taking a ride here. There are also the horse cart options which also serve as public transport. The Trishaw can be found in different forms like the Traditional three wheel cart popularly known as the Becak. It is a very comfortable ride but more expensive than a trishaw. The horse cart seems to travel by a standard route while the trishaws travel by a specified route.
All those interested in taking the buses can do so as the bus services are excellent. Buses are frequent here but crowded and safe. There are also buses which take the tourists from the airports and also inside the town. Train services are also excellent and prompt and there are numerous train stations like Tuga Train Station, Lempuyangan Station while there are bus stations like Umbulharjo Station and Jombor Bus Terminal. Train services are available however from Java and Sumatra.
Thus moving around in Yogyakarta is very easy and convenient.
