The Indonesian Air force has an excellent museum that is known as the Museum Dirgantara Mandala or just the Museum Dirgantara, Yogyakarta. The Museum Dirgantara, Yogyakarta is located just behind the main airport in Yogyakarta. The aircrafts that are displayed here are well protected as they are kept under cover. The museum is open from 8am to 1 pm on all days leaving out the Fridays as it is an auspicious day for the Muslims. You just need to carry your credit card or your driver's license as this will help you to gain entry.
