Getting to Haifa

Located on the northern coast of Israel, Haifa is well connected to the major cities of the country. Train line connects Haifa to Tel Aviv, Akko, and Beer Sheva. The frequency of train is another reason for the popularity of this mode of transportation. There are three to four trains every hour.
Haifa has four stations. The Hof ha-Carmel is located close to the bus terminal. It connects the city to the cities south of Haifa. The Bat Galim, close to the Elija’s Cave, is another important station in the city. The third station in the downtown is the Haifa Merkaz. Connecting Haifa to the north of Israel is the Lev ha-Mifraz. These stations make getting to Haifa very easy.
The tourists can also travel to Haifa by bus and car. The Egged buses are available from Tel Aviv to take the tourists to Haifa. The same of category buses are also available from the capital city of Israel, Jerusalem. Taxis can be availed from the central bus station of Tel Aviv. The ‘sherut’ taxi is one of the cheapest modes of transportation from the TLV Airport to the city of Haifa. It takes around an hour and fifteen minutes making it quite a fast vehicle to take the tourists to the city. The Transportation in Haifa is good which makes every corner of the city accessible.
