The Tikotin Museum of Japanese Art in Haifa is one of the well known Museums in Haifa. The museum was established in the year 1959 by Felix Tikotin who was a famous Japanese Art collector. The museum is solely dedicated to the portrayal of Japanese history and culture by displaying various Japanese relics. It consists of scientific articles on the various subjects of Japan and the culture and beliefs of the Japanese people. The museum also hosts various activities on Japan like lectures, films, Japanese flower schemes, Zen Meditation and Japanese language. Recently a new section has been introduced which includes carvings by Japanese architect Junzo Yoshimura and Al Mansfeld of Israel.
