Walking in Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv is a flat city, so you can stroll around for hours. When you get tired, stop for a coffee and go on. Walking in Tel Aviv is much easier with a city map. One of such recommended walks is the northern promenade walk. Begin at the centre near your hotel and go north along the beach. Walk at the northern promenade is recommended at sunset. On the way, you may visit the new shopping mall that sells exclusive and authentic items or you can enjoy a drink at the several cafes. Afterwards you can continue north and go to Yarkon Park through a wonderful bridge that is brightly lit at night.

Park Hayarkon is suitable for relaxing and refreshing walks or sports. Next option is the south promenade walk. Start at the centre again and go southwards to old Jaffa. It will take only 30 to 40 minutes to reach Gordon Street. On the way, you may visit the spectacular Opera shopping centre. Manta Ray, the seafood restaurant on the beach Pini behatzer and old Jaffa are other attractions on the way. Another option is Rotschild Boulevard walk. Start from Habima Theater hall and walk to the end seeing marvelous architectural old and renovated buildings. At the end of the walk, you can visit Hagna Museum and Heichal Haatzmaut.

Shenkin and Nahalat Binyamin Street are ideal for walking. Start from Rothschild Boulevard and walk around the mix of vivid shops. When you are near Allenby take a left turn and visit the Bezalel market near King George. Walking through Gordon Street will be an amazing experience. Walk from sea to Rabin square. The road between Yehuda and Dizengolf has many art galleries on both sides. Gordon Street is adorned with trees on both sides. You can walk further to the pretty Hen Boulevard and relax with a coffee Masarik Square.
