Israel Holidays

Generally the word Holiday means any particular day of break .Holiday may be of different types. A public holiday is sanctioned by the government. It may be religious or political or historical in nature. Consecutive holiday’s means along term leave from work.
Holidays are most required to everybody. It revitalizes one’s body and mind after the hard toils. People spend their holidays in their own way. Most of the Israel holidays come in September and April.

New Year - Rosh Hashana is the first day of the Jewish year.
Fast Day of Gedaliah ben Ahikam –it comes after Rosh Hashana. The third day of Tishrei is considered as Tzom Gedalia
Day of Atonement - It comes on the tenth day of the Hebrew month of Tishrei
Feast of Tabernacles- the Feast of Tabernacles is a one week autumn crop festival.
Assembly of the Eighth Day- The Eighth Day Assembly is one more day added to the conclusion of the Feast of Tabernacles
Feast of Rededication- the feast of rededication comes on the 25th of Kislev by the Hebraic calendar
Tenth of Tevet Fast - the tenth day of the Hebrew month of Tevet, is a minor fast day in Judaism
Fifteenth of Shvat
Fast of Esther-The Fast takes place on the 13th day of the Hebrew month of Adar.
Memorial Feast for the Triumph of Esther
Passover –It is a Jewish holiday observed in Spring
Seventh day of Passover-It is the end of Passover
