Fukuoka Sanix Blues previously known as Fukuoka Sanix Bombs is one of the most popular rugby union team in Fukuoka as well as Japan. Fukuoka Sanix Blues was established in 1994 but still it enjoys the credit of rising rapidly through the Kyushu leagues and was in the top League of Rugby sport in Fukuoka.
The popularity of rugby in Fukuoka gets reflected through the renowned destinations, which hosts rugby games. Hakata no Mori Stadium, located in the Hakata ward of Fukuoka city is not only the home ground of Avispa Fukuoka football club comprising some of the Top League games, Top League Challenge series and Top Kyushu league games but also host some of the Rugby League matches. Hakata no Mori stadium enjoys a seating capacity of 22,563 and it is located just at a distance of 20 minutes walk from Fukuoka airport.
